How to Hide or Unhide Items in a Learning Module

Basic Procedure

Method 1: Use Selective Release Map
	Step 1: Access the Selective Release Map
	Step 2: Change Item Visibility Settings

Method 2: Go to Learning Module while in Build Tab View
	Step 1: Open the Learning Module
	Step 2: Change Item Visibility Settings

Method 1 : Use the Selective Release Map

Step 1: Access the Selective Release Map

	Go to either the Build tab or the Teach tab	or

	Click on "Selective Release" in tools menu at left NOTE: This will appear under Designer Tools if in Build tab and under Instructor tools if in Teach tab

Step 2: Change Module Item Visibility

	Click on the "+" sign next to the name of the Learning Module to expand the list of items in the module

	To hide an item, click on "Hide Item" button To unhide an item, click on the "Show item" button NOTE: If button says "Hide Link" the item is currently available and if it says "Show Item" it is currently hidden.

Method 2: Go to Learning Module in Build Tab View

Step 1: Open Learning Module

Option 1: From a Folder Page

	Must be in Build Tab view Click on the Learning Module title or icon

Option 2: From the Learning Modules tool

	Must be in Build tab view Click "Learning Modules" in toolbar at left

	Click name of the module you wish to edit

Step 2: Change Settings for Item Visibility

	The list of items in the Learning Module will indicate which are currently hidden (or not hidden)

	Click option menu arrow icon next to item Choose "Show Item" to reveal hidden items Choose "Hide Item" to hide an item

	The change will be reflected in the list of items in the Learning Module ("Hidden" is gone)
