| Step 2: Add an html file (web page) as first item in the Learning Module | |||||||
| Why use HTML file for first item? | |||||||
| BECAUSE... | |||||||
The first item in module will load, or try to load, every time a student opens the module. |
If the first item is an HTML file, as in this example, it will appear immediately for all viewers in the right-hand window of the module because it is a web page and is meant to open the browser NOTE: Because only HTML files can be edited in HuskyCT this makes it easy to update first page with reminders, assignment dates, etc. |

If first item is not an HTML file, but a Word file, as in this example, it will not immediately display Depending on browser and settings, file will either be blocked from opening, the user will be prompted to Open or Save the file, or the file will automatically download and save to the computer. |
